Making Acrobat reader default for PDF files

Windows 10 opens PDF files with Microsoft Edge browser by default. To open PDF files with Adobe Acrobat Reader instead, and have that as the default setting:

STEP 1

find a PDF file on your PC and RIGHT CLICK it.

Select Open With >

Select Choose another app from the pop up menu

STEP 2

Select Adobe Acrobat Reader from the list

Check the box that says Always use this app

Click OK
